Hello, and welcome back to yet another inspirational podcast episode brought to you by yours truly, Carina. I'm your truth speaker, truth seeker, truth keeper, and I am so glad that you're here with me today. Hey it's Carina and welcome back to Soul Medicine with Carina Bull. If you've been asking yourself is this anxiety or is this intuition? If you've been feeling a quiet tension in your chest, a heaviness you can't name, a knowing you keep talking yourself out of, this episode is for you.
Carina:Because here's the truth you were never taught. The moment you sense something is off, your body already knows. It's your mind that argues. And if you've ever felt torn between what you feel and what you've been conditioned to believe you're not alone and you're not broken. By the end of this episode you'll know how to tell the difference between fear, trauma noise and real intuition so you can stop second guessing yourself and start trusting the truth that has always lived under your ribs.
Carina:In a moment I'm going to talk about the Moon reversed, a tarot card that perfectly describes what happens when intuition gets tangled with old wounds. Even if you don't know tarot, the metaphor will land with you because it names what your body has been whispering for years. So if you're tired of feeling confused, if you're exhausted from doubting your own senses, if you're ready to finally trust the part of you that knows, stay with me. Let's begin. There's a particular ache that comes from not knowing whether you can trust yourself.
Carina:You feel a shift, a pause in someone's tone, a small rupture in the
Carina:energy, a silence that feels heavier than it should. Your body catches it instantly like a deer raising its head at the snap of a twig. But your mind rushes in faster. You're overreacting. You're too sensitive.
Carina:You're imagining it. You always do this. And suddenly the thing you knew for one crystalline second melts into fog. Most women live in that fog, suspended between what they feel and what they've been conditioned to ignore. And that
Carina:tension, that internal tug of war, that quiet collapse inside the chest, that's the ache I want to speak into today. Here's the truth we don't say out loud. Most women don't have an intuition problem. They
Carina:have a self trust problem. And that problem didn't start with them. It started the first time someone told you that didn't happen. Don't be traumatic, stop being silly, you're too emotional, it's not that bad.
Carina:You learn to doubt your own senses
Carina:because doubting them kept you safe.
Carina:So now when intuition whispers, your automatic response is to doubt it. And this is where I want to bring in the Moon reversed, a tarot card that perfectly describes this inner distortion. If you're not familiar with Tarot, the Moon represents intuition, the subconscious, the unseen currents beneath the surface. When the Moon appears reversed, it signals a time when the water is cloudy, when our inner landscape is distorted, when fear and memory bend the truth. The moon reversed is the voice of distortion dressed as intuition, self doubt wearing your voice, projection pretending to be protection, confusion disguised as clarity, Illusion wrapped in certainty.
Carina:Emotional static humming louder than your soul. It is the fog your mind creates when your body already knows. So let's drop out of the mind for just a second and into the body because the body never lies. Think of the last time you felt something shift. Your stomach tightened, your chest sank,
Carina:your shoulders rose an inch, your breath caught or softened. That very first sensation before thought, before analysis, before logic is intuition. Intuition is lightning quick, clean, illuminating the truth for a heartbeat. Fear is thunder. It's loud, delayed, explaining what already happened.
Carina:And trauma? Trauma is a smoke alarm that goes off. Whether there's a fire or someone just burnt the toast. No wonder you feel confused. Your intuition isn't broken.
Carina:Your nervous system is carrying too much history. You are not misreading the energy. You are translating it through a body that has survived more than most people know.
Carina:Here's something else. The higher frequency wisdom that drops in like a key.
Carina:You have never been wrong about energy. Never. What you sensed was real. What your body whispered was real. What tightened, softened, opened or retreated?
Carina:Real.
Carina:Where things get tangled is in the meaning you attach to the sensation. If you were raised in chaos, you expect chaos.
Carina:If love was conditional, you expect to earn safety. If you had to be hyper attuned to survive, you confuse vigilance with intuition. You weren't taught how to trust yourself, but the knowing has always been there. My gift, my truth telling superpower is naming what you can feel but cannot articulate yet. You're not broken, you're not imagining things, you're re learning the language of your own soul.
Carina:This is the work we do inside my sessions, not teaching you to follow my intuition but guiding you back to your own. Tarot names the patterns you can feel but can't yet see. Reiki clears the emotional static that blurs your truth.
Carina:And coaching helps you untangle instinct from fear so you can make choices from clarity not collapse. Your intuition doesn't need to be louder you just need the space to hear it.
Carina:Place So a hand on your heart, place the other on your lower belly, and just breathe in slowly. And let the exhale fall out like a stone sinking into deep water.
Carina:Ask your body not your mind Is this fear or
Carina:is this truth? Feel the first sensation. Not the story, not the justification, not the lightning fast self blame. The first sensation.
Carina:That is your intuition.
Carina:Everything else that comes after is the Moon reversed.
Carina:Which is distortion, self doubt, projection, confusion, illusion
Carina:and emotional static. You are not losing your intuition. You are remembering its ancient language, the one your body has spoken long before your mind learned to doubt it.
Carina:And when remembering becomes too loud to hold alone, when the truth presses against your ribs with no words to contain it, when you're ready to sit in the discomfort instead of abandoning yourself, I'm here. Not to tell you what to believe but to walk beside you as you learn to trust your own knowing again. Just because you once doubted your voice doesn't mean you can't trust it now.
Carina:Until next time, lead with your truth, not your fear. With love, Carina
